PSK5000 Retro Handheld Game Console (2026 Version)

The PSK5000 Retro Handheld Game Console V2 (2026 Version) is a powerful Android-based handheld designed for players who want retro gaming, Android gaming, streaming, and multimedia features in one portable device. This upgraded V2 model combines a 5-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen, MediaTek Helio G85 processor, Hall Effect controls, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, RGB-lit joysticks, and expandable storage of up to 512GB.

Powered by an 8-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor featuring two Cortex-A75 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, together with the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, the PSK5000 V2 provides the processing power needed for a broad range of retro gaming systems and Android applications. Four selectable performance modes allow users to balance performance and battery consumption depending on how the handheld is being used.

5-Inch Full HD IPS Touchscreen

At the centre of the PSK5000 V2 is its 5-inch 1920 × 1080 Full HD IPS display. The high-resolution panel delivers sharp text, detailed game graphics, vibrant colours, and wide viewing angles in a compact handheld format.

The display is also touch-enabled, making Android navigation, settings adjustments, applications, and compatible games easier to control without relying entirely on physical buttons.

MediaTek Helio G85 Performance

The PSK5000 V2 uses the MediaTek Helio G85, manufactured using a 12nm process and built around an eight-core CPU configuration.

The two Cortex-A75 performance cores operate at up to 2.0GHz, while six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores operate at up to 1.8GHz. Graphics are handled by the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.

This hardware allows the handheld to support a wide selection of Retro Game System platforms.

Hall Effect Controls & RGB Joysticks

The PSK5000 V2 features Hall Effect analogue joysticks, designed to provide accurate movement without relying on traditional contact-based potentiometers. This gives the handheld precise analogue control for racing games, platformers, fighting games, shooters, and other titles that benefit from accurate joystick input.

The joysticks also feature RGB lighting, giving the console a more modern appearance while retaining the familiar layout expected from a dedicated gaming handheld.

Responsive physical controls and dual-zone buttons make the PSK5000 suitable for both classic 2D titles and more advanced 3D gaming.

Android Operating System

Unlike simpler retro handhelds that use dedicated Linux-based interfaces, the PSK5000 V2 runs Android, giving users considerably more flexibility.

Android allows the handheld to support compatible Android games, applications, Retro Game System software, multimedia applications, streaming services, and other supported software. The customizable interface makes it possible to use the PSK5000 as more than simply a retro gaming device.

The console features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, with support for a TF/microSD card of up to 512GB for additional storage.

Please note that the base device is listed as Games Included: 0. Customers should use game files and software they legally own or are otherwise authorised to use.

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth & Game Streaming

The PSK5000 V2 includes 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth connectivity, allowing it to connect with compatible wireless networks, headphones, controllers, accessories, and other supported devices.

Compatible software can also be used for features such as screen casting, cloud gaming, and remote game streaming from supported platforms and devices.

This makes the PSK5000 considerably more versatile than a traditional offline-only retro handheld console.

4000mAh Rechargeable Battery

A built-in 4000mAh rechargeable battery provides portable gaming without requiring the console to remain connected to power.

The device supports charging through USB Type-C and charging rates of up to approximately 15W, depending on the charger being used.

Four performance profiles are available:

Battery life will naturally vary depending on screen brightness, Wi-Fi usage, Retro Game System workload, performance mode and the type of game being played.

Designed for Portable Gaming

At approximately 200g, the PSK5000 V2 is designed to remain lightweight enough for portable use while still providing a large 5-inch display.

The ABS body uses an ergonomic handheld layout with a matte finish, while the metal rear section assists with heat dissipation. Other practical features include dual speakers, a headphone connection, USB Type-C charging, touchscreen controls and expandable TF card storage.

Whether it is being used at home, while travelling, or for shorter gaming sessions throughout the day, the PSK5000 V2 brings together the convenience of a modern Android handheld with support for generations of retro gaming platforms.
